Well I think first I should tell you about what I have in mind here for
the New York Artist Series so this way anyone reading this can get a
better idea of what the concept of the New York Artist Series is. The
New York Artist Series is an Art Gallery, Film & TV Company, Record
Label, and has Marketing and Management Divisions.
As I imagined it and still do the company would have a "Headquarters"
building and it would have several floors housing a live music venue on
the first floor, a recording studio, a film and video editing room, and
art gallery and offices. Possible one more floor housing a TV studio
and photography studio.
Obviously very high tech, state of the art sound recording studio
and film/tv editing room, I should be able to record any live show
playing in the venue and edit live in the editing room from built in
cameras venue as well as any live feed mobile cameras. Burn DVD’ s of
each show or make them available for broadcast.
I thought there should be several flat screen plasma's in the art
gallery this way each show could broadcast a virtual environment or
interview with the artist on a loop while the show was exhibiting.
Having a space like this would also allow for special events like
parties and smaller fashion shows which could broadcast the show live
on the surrounding screens while the show was going on providing a
great effect. Similarly you could run a loop during a cocktail party or
event.
The building should be purchased with cash initially for a couple
reasons such as relieving the business of costly rent payments which
would affect the companies initial ability to report positive cash flow
and it would also allow us to capitalize on the increase in real estate
value that having such a facility as ours would add as well as the
ultimate possibility of a landmark designation by the city and the
increase in value that would add to the property.
The removal of the huge mortgage or rent cost allows of a huge moral
boost and the companies other entities such as the live music venue and
the art gallery are able to generate a positive cash flow right from
the beginning and with manageable costs you should be able to possibly
even show in the black in the first year.
